We have now been guests at Pikes Peak RV Park for 8 months. I wanted to share our experiences. During this time, we have interacted with Sheryl, Kim, JJ, and Sierra. I have really enjoyed interacting with these folks. They take pride in their job. Each of them has always been friendly and willing to help. I work with the government, and it is important to have internet service. Overall, this park has the best Wi-Fi we have experienced in our travels.
Small RV park, nights were quiet. Little traffic noise. Great employees.
Beautiful place to stay. Right by the river. Close to Garden of the Gods. Easy bike ride using trail.
The manager was very helpful we came in late and she met us and helped us . Would stay again.
I stayed at Pikes Peak RV Park for about two months and it was fantastic. First, the manager Sheryl squeezed me into a monthly site at the last minute. I had made arrangements elsewhere, arrived, and realized it would not be suitable – so I called her in the middle of a crazy hail storm, and she was helpful, friendly, and polite. She got us in, and we loved being here.
This is a wonderful place to stay. There is a free bus to the shopping district right outside. It is cozy so if you have a huge rig with a bunch of slides you may not enjoy it.
Update 2023 we came back in September of 2022 and June of 2023.

I work with the government, and it is important to have internet service. Overall, this park has the best Wi-Fi we have experienced in our travels. In the few times that it was lagging or dropped, Sheryl was right on it and working to fix it. It has made working from our rig easy. In addition, the bathrooms are pristine. It seems an odd thing to comment on, but I have found that when attention is given to those areas, how well-kept they are says much about how the park is operated. Every time I have had to use the facilities, they are clean and bright. I know from a camp worker’s perspective; it is not a job that many enjoy, but the staff does a great job.
As Christmas is closing in, and we are experiencing our first winter, Sheryl has been super helpful. I bought a heated house that broke the next day, and Sheryl was right there to offer a new one.
I want to personally thank Sheryl for her help and her follow-up in making the situation better.
I want to thank JJ for the hard work that I see him putting in regardless of the weather to make the park look good and well-maintained.
I want to thank Sierra for her great attitude, her cheerfulness, and her willingness to help when I come into the front office.
We look forward to spending more time here, and I am thankful that we have such a hard-working staff.
